Lash Lifting and Tinting

A lash lift is an amazing way to enhance your natural lash with minimum maintenance after the appointment. A lash lift curls your lashes form base to tip while a lash tint darkens the lash to give a mascara effect. Your esthetician will do a quick consultation before starting the lifting process to determine the look you desire. Our lash lifting and tinting process takes about an hour and provides results for approximately 6 weeks.

Lash Lift and Tint Before and After Care

Before your appointment:
1. Please come in with CLEAN, makeup free lashes. If you need to remove makeup shortly before your appointment, please use a water-based makeup remover and not an oil-based. The lift will not work as well if the lashes are not completely clean!
2. If you wear contact lenses, please remove them prior to the appointment.
3. We recommend avoiding waterproof mascara 2-3 days before your lift as it can leave a residue that may prevent the lashes from lifting properly.
4. Avoid curling your lashes with a lash curler at least 24 hours before your appointment.
5. Ensure that you do not have an eye infection or irritation around the eyes. We cannot perform the treatment if you have either of these.
6. If you have had Lasik surgery, you must wait a minimum of 6 months before getting this service.
7. We cannot do a lash lift on lash extensions.

While lash lifts are a very low maintenance service, there are a few important things to note for the 24 hours after your appointment.
After your appointment:
1. Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours.
2. Avoid hot water, steam and swimming for the first 24 hours.
3. Avoid all oil-based products around the eyes for at least 2 days. This includes makeup removers and waterproof mascaras, which are often an oil-based formula. Oil will cause your lift to degrade and straighten faster.
4. No mascara in general for the first 24 hours.
5. We know this one is difficult but avoid sleeping directly on your lashes. Your lashes are prone to kinks during the first 24 hours.
6. You shouldn't need one after this but avoid lash curlers.
7. Do not touch or rub your eyes immediately after treatment.
8. We will give you a clean spoolie at your appointment so that you can gently brush your lashes.

We recommend waiting at least 6 weeks before your next appointment.

While it is uncommon, if any consistent redness or irritation occurs, you can apply a cool damp compress to the eye area. If irritation continues past 24 hours, we recommend seeking medical advice.
